The fifth edition of Modern Digital Electronics is thoroughly mapped with that latest AICTE model syllabus. Its primary focus is on rigorous coverage of design and analysis of complex digital circuits, and systems through enhanced elucidation of Sequential Logic Design, PLDs, Memories, Verilog as well as VHDL implementation codes with test bench and waveforms. Beginning with the fundamental concepts of digital electronics, it covers digital design using VHDL and Verilog supported by plethora of examples. Salient Features: 1. Introduction of Verilog Coding followed by examples 2. New chapter on Fundamentals and Applications of Microcontrollers 3. Project problems using logic ICs with block level design solution added 4. An expanded and improved coverage of topics like Arbitrary Counter Design, Circuits Operation Theory, Waveforms 5. Exhaustive coverage provided for Combinational Logic Design by including new topics like Application of DeMorgan’s theorem to translate circuits in different form, Implicate, Prime Implicate and Essential Prime Implicate, AND-OR-INVERT, OR-AND-INVERT realization 6. Additional examples on topics like reduction of logical expressions using Boolean theorems, Number Systems and Codes, Flip-Flop conversion, HDL codes with test bench and waveforms, etc 7. Numerous solved and practice problems along with objective type questions
