B. K. Ravi, Ph.D., Senior Professor of the Department of Communication at Bangalore University and Vice-Chancellor of Koppal University, State Public University of Government of Karnataka, has over three decades of teaching and research experience. He has served as Registrar of Bangalore University, a two-term Member of the Karnataka State Commission for Backward Classes, and Special Of_icer at Karnataka Fine Arts University for two years. A Ph.D. in Communication from Bangalore University, Prof. Ravi is the Editor in Chief of Constructive Communication. An accomplished author and filmmaker, he has authored seven books and produced over 25 television programs, including the documentary PILIKULA, which won the prestigious Documentary Award in 2015. Additionally, he has produced nearly 20 radio programs and delivered over 80 talks on All India Radio. In recognition of his contributions, he was honored with the National Chanakya Award for academic communication in 2012 and the Press Club of Bangalore Annual Award in 2019.
