Heald, Rebecca: - Rebecca Heald is an American professor of cell and developmental biology. She is currently a professor in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. In May 2019, she was elected to the National Academy of Sciences.
Hunt, Tim: - Tim Hunt received his PhD in biochemistry from Cambridge University, where he supervised undergraduates in cell biology for more than 20 years. He spent many summers in the late 1970s and early 1980s teaching and researching at the MBL, Woods Hole, Massachusetts. In 1990, he moved to Cancer Research UK, where he worked on the control of the cell cycle. He retired from active research in 2011, and since 2016 has been at OIST in Japan. He is a Fellow of The Royal Society of London and a foreign associate of the US National Academy of Sciences. In recognition of his contribution to the "Discovery of key regulators of the cell cycle," he received a share of the 2001 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine.
