There are many types of abuse: psychological, physical, and sexual. Having been a victim of all three for the majority of my adolescent life has caused me to question. Growing up in a bible thumping, independent, fundamental Baptist church has its advantages, some of them not being honesty and openness. I pride myself in being able to have what I consider a happy and productive life. The purpose of this book is to uplift those who are living in disparity thinking they can't possibly break the chains that bind their souls. I am here to say it loud and proud "You can overcome!" Life is a journey, so let's hold hands and hearts and get through it together.
