In La Bonanza, the biggest open-air landfill in Venezuela, lives Mosca. Mosca is a common fly with an uncommon problem: she is a one-eyed fly.

Mosca is a fly that can't even fly straight! Mosca lives amid the garbage and collects trash for a living. But Mosca has a dream: she wants to be a great circus performer. 'Pathetic loser!' all the other insects say. Poor Mosca! But dreams are treasures... And sometimes we can find treasures in trash.


Easy-to-Read Literature

Mosca, Mosca!! is an easy Spanish reader using just 67 new vocabulary words plus a few that are similar in Spanish and English. It is written with the most frequent words in Spanish and is presented in an accessible and easy-to-understand format for maximum reading pleasure!


This edition is compliant with the Easy-to-Read standard: the text is presented in a bigger format, with lots of space for reading ease and is written with dyslexic-friendly font. The basic vocabulary is presented at the beginning of the book and all new words are introduced with translations and explanations so that the reader has a 'one-page reading experience'. A glossary with all words used is provided at the end of the book.


Pérez García, Margarita: - Margarita Pérez García is a Venezuelan author of easy-to-read literature for beginning language learners. She is also a teacher of Spanish and French in secondary school. Margarita holds a Master of Research in Spanish Language and Literature, a Master in Applied linguistic and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Modern Languages. Margarita was born and grew up in Venezuela where the story of Mosca, ¡¡Mosca!! takes place. Margarita is passionate about the conservation of the environment and she loves writing animal stories.
