Iain McLaughlin has worked as a journalist and writer since the mid 1980s. He was written novels, short stories, comics, radio and audio plays and TV shows. He has written extensively in the Doctor Who universe and created the 5th Doctor's companion, Erimem. He has also written for Blake's 7 and Sherlock Holmes as well as creating new properties like the Imagination Theater radio show, Kerides The Thinker. He writes regularly with Claire Bartlett and together they have written across a number of genres including science fiction, horror, crime and historical drama. Their next novel, Erimem - The Last Pharaoh, will be published by Thebes Publishing in April 2015.
