When Meagan Mills Darcy moves to the Isle of Skye, Scotland, to marry the handsome Duncan MacGrae (Scotty), she is looking for that fairy tale happily-ever-after ending. Afterwards, Scotty shares a dark secret from his past with Meg. When life seems to be tumbling around them, little Michael and Aunt Moira always manage to bring some humor and levity into the mix. Just as their existence brightens, Scotty discovers the murder which takes them through a labyrinth that leads to yet more death. Through it all, Meg and Scotty's love and laughter passionately proclaim it will be a story book ending no matter what the gods throw at them.
