About The Book

Years of research is packed into this gently humorous history of the relationship between the US and UK. Mrs Peabody is a game, inside a game, inside a game, a mystery written as political satire, poking fun at both sides of the Atlantic.

After Pearl Harbor, Ida is employed by Richard Nixon at FDR's 1942 Office of Price Administration and discovers a fraud perpetrated by Nixon and his conspirators. Discovered, Nixon is sent to the Pacific, enters Congress after the war, and becomes a member of an ancient secret society known as OAP (The Order of the American People) formerly known as Ordo de Populo Anglii (est. 1352). Ida is the leader of the English Order that crossed the Atlantic in 1768 to avert the American Revolution.

About The Author

Rosenbaum, Alvin: - Alvin Rosenbaum (b. 1945) is and has been an author, graphic designer, book packager and marketing executive including a decade as consultant in US (National Park Service) and international (USAID, the World Bank) in strategic planning and tourism development. He was recently both senior research scholar at the George Washington University (2000-2018) and senior policy advisor at the University of North Alabama (2019-2020), in his hometown of Florence, Alabama. His current book (Pub: November 2018), The Muscle Shoals: First frontier of these United States was published by Whitman Publishing, a regional history published by a regional press.

Thompson, Ida: - Mrs. Ida P. Thompson (1924-2004) was born in Dover, Delaware and was a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and was employed by the Order of the American People until her death in 2004.
