About The Author Rashid Sultan qualified as a nuclear engineer and pursued that profession for a few years. He came to dislike it so much that he gave it up. But in these same years he started to write simple poems and loved it. He, himself, has learned to love after falling out of love with loving for a lot of years. He belatedly realized that after oxygen, water and food, love is what we need most. Love, he learned, is our fourth most essential need.. When he shared his creations with his family and friends, they were all of the view that the poetry needed to be shared with a larger audience. So he wrote some fun poems to go along with his love poems and became the author of Musical Words For Singing Birds. He selected many poems-lyrics which could be easily sung. Rashid believes that if his work helps even a few find the happiness of good love, his efforts, invested in publishing this book, will be repaid with ample profit.
