It is also aimed at illustrating the ambience that surrounded London City with all the free events, including some countries' hospitality houses around London and the most popular Mega Big Screens in Hyde Park.The Olympic Games was an epic event whose enthusiasm was overwhelming and transcended through to the Paralympics where we witnessed all the super athletes achieve their dreams and showed us how anything is possible regardless of any physical limitation. This was, indeed, one of the most inspiring aspect of the Games. This book also covers the legacy from the Games and how this influence Claudia as spectator, volunteer and London resident. It also encompasses how the Olympic Park was transformed to become an open public space and how sports still remain a major part of the Olympic Park with the use of the stadiums.The final part of the book covers the Anniversary Games which celebrate the anniversary of the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games in order to keep the Olympic Spirit alive.Claudia hopes that this book can immerse the reader into how the Games impacted the life of her family, herself and the thousands who flocked to the great city of London to live the moments that re-defined sporting history. The Games changed the lives of all the residents of London and in particular, the ones in East London. Hopefully, this book will contribute to the legacy left by the great Games and will inspire the readers in general and sports enthusiasts, in particular to carry on the Olympic Spirit until London is awarded the honour to host its 4th Olympic Games.
