We must all strive to discover acceptable alternatives to our destructive lifestyles that threaten the stability of Earth's many diverse ecosystems. It is never too early to teach our young children the importance of respecting and cherishing all the varied life on our little blue planet. Hopefully My Mommy is a Giraffe will educate young readers to the fact that it is up to all of us, young and old, to protect all the wild creatures that share our fragile planet with us.
