T.P. McAtamney is an author, speaker and expert on Critical Incident Stress. He is also himself the victim of narcissistic abuse. In 2000 he wrote the free instructional e-book, Stress and the 911 Dispatcher - Surviving the Console, which has been incorporated into training for many 911 Centers in the US, and taught the subject of how to cope with Critical Incident stress to 911 Dispatchers across the USA. Since become himself a victim of a narcissistic relationship, he has combined that experience with his experience in the field of stress management, to other victims to help them survive and thrive after an abusive relationship. He does this by maintaining the My Waffles are Cold - A Man's Guide to Abusive Women Facebook page, which reaches tens of thousands of Facebook users looking for help and guidance on narcissistic, borderline and other abusive relationships, as well as producing instructional videos on You Tube on various subjects related to abusive women. T.P. McAtamney's philosophy is that since many people helped him escape his narcissistic relationship, he feels that since other men are often the "forgotten victims" of abusive relationships, he can use his experience to help them as he was helped. T.P. McAtamney retired in 2015, in order to devote himself full time to this endeavor. He is currently married and lives in Dubai, UAE. He has one daughter, and six grandchildren, plays the guitar, tries to sing and is huge fan of country music.
