Carol Mays has resided in seven states and sought truth through many religious and philosophical traditions. Throughout her life, she has been strongly drawn toward beauty in all its forms. She has been writing poetry for 45 years. Many of the poems in the present volume have been reprinted from previously published books entitled, Strategies, Poems & Stories for Holistic Living and Images for Wholeness. Carol has also written a short novel in the magical realism genre entitled, The Magic-Makers' Carnival. Carol currently lives in central Massachusetts and works as a quality assurance coordinator for a foster care agency in Worcester.-------Richard Bachtold has passionately followed his calling to poetry for over 30 years. He lives a simple lifestyle on a beloved two-acre homestead in central Massachusetts. For the most part, inspiration for his creative work comes from the beautiful natural landscape which surrounds him. For many years, he has independently studied the poetical process, the poetical heritage, and he has dedicated himself to seeking how the aestheticism of poetics is connected to a creative way of living with moral integrity. He has self-published three books of poetry, and his mystical poems with their universal nature have been published in various alternative publications, including Pilgrimage, Gaian Voices, and Original Blessing.-------Nina Andersen is a poet who's search for truth and God has led her into realms of spiritual knowledge and soul enlightenment. The visions and intensity of her experiences are expressed through her poems, in her desire and hope to bring spirituality and enlightenment to others. She wishes to remind humankind of its eternal soul, of the love and joy that is within the universe, and that God is real and exists everywhere, eternally. Nina lives in central Massachusetts, in a yellow-windowed house, surrounded by nature, flowers, and woodland. She is a poet, mystic, therapist, and teacher. She presently teaches Critical Thinking and Problem Solving at a college in Worcester, Massachusetts.------The three authors became familiar with each other's work through an interest group that meets monthly to share and celebrate poetry by candlelight.
