His background prior to entering the Residential Kitchen Design Industry was in; the Architectural Wood Working Industry as a Designer/Draftsman producing drawings to build from (shop drawings), Restaurant Design Industry as Design Coordinator producing and overseeing production of drawings necessary to build out each restaurant interior, and Architecture as a designer/draftsman and project manager for the Luxury Residential Custom Home Market. His introduction to the Kitchen Industry was in 1993 when he accepted a position as a draftsman/project manager in Far Hills, NJ. Then he moved to a kitchen interior design firm in Morristown, NJ in 1995 as a Technician, until he left to start The Kitchen Design Company in January of 1997. For his indoctrination as a business owner he space planned, drew 3D perspectives, priced, and presented over 80 kitchens that first year to get 8 clients. Working long hours he had to figure out a much more efficient way of doing all this work in less time. And without sacrificing quality, or the clients' ability to make their own decisions, and with his guidance, design their own kitchens. That simple systematized approach he discovered, tested, and followed since 1998 is in this book.
