Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: 1,0, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (Erziehungswissenschaften), Veranstaltung: Kernprobleme sozialpädagogischen Handelns, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der vorliegenden Arbeit interessiert mich zunächst, auf welche wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse sich die Soziapädagogik in ihrem alltäglichen beruflichen Kontext beziehen kann und welchen spezifischen Herausforderungen sie gegenübersteht. In der Professionalisierungsdebatte um die Sozialpädagogik wird die Bewältigung von Ungewissheit als Kern professioneller Handlungskompetenz genannt (vgl. Müller 2002, 80). Laut der Aussage von Fritz Schütz hierzu, begegnen wir der Sozialpädagogik als "bescheidener Profession" (vgl. Schütze 1992). Wenn Sozialpädagoginnen in ihrem Berufsalltag durch die Individualität der Fälle nicht auf allgemeingültige Handlungskonzepte zurückgreifen können, der Umgang mit Ungewissheit als professionelle Voraussetzung genannt wird und wir letztendlich davon ausgehen, dass auch der "subjektive Faktor" eine Rolle für die erfolgreiche pädagogische Intervention spielt, so ist letztendlich viel von dem Umgang und der persönlichen Konstitution der Professionellen abhängig. Durch deren professionellen Habitus in der sozial-pädagogischen Beziehung ist es möglich, das Verhältnis von Nähe und Distanz in diesem Kontext bewusst zu gestalten und reflexiv zu bearbeiten, so dass eine Balance von Nähe und Distanz der jeweiligen pädagogischen Beziehung immer wieder neu austariert werden kann. Ich möchte mich im Rahmen dieser Arbeit der Frage nähern, welche persönlichen Voraussetzungen Sozialpädagoginnen in diesem Spannungsverhältnis von Nähe und Distanz mitbringen sollten, um einen professionellen Umgang mit diesem Problem sozialpädagogischen Arbeitens leisten zu können. Daraus ableiten möchte ich die möglichen Auswirkungen auf die pädagogische Beziehung und die Anforderungen an institutionelle Strukturen und Angebote von Aus
