When a team of four young high schoolers-led by Skylar, a competitive drone racer-uses secret CIA technology to eavesdrop on enemies of the U.S., they invite chaos into their lives and the lives of their families. Before long, Skylar is surreptitiously recruiting pilots of his own from his drone races. As Skylar's team impresses the Air Force and starts their missions, they learn enemy secrets and must figure out how to live their daily lives while doubling as secret agents. Nano Ops is a great young adult read for those with interest in drone racing, espionage, and father-son dynamics.
