This book explores the theranostic potential of nanoerythrocytes against cancer. It provides a comprehensive overview, beginning with the evolution of erythrocytes into nanoerythrocytes and their crucial role as advanced drug delivery systems in oncology. It addresses the challenges in developing nanoerythrocytes, from safety and scalability to regulatory concerns. It provides a thorough examination of formulation strategies and technological advancements, covering the design, engineering, and optimization of nanoerythrocytes for precise drug delivery. Through case studies, recent patents, and clinical trials, this book reveals the latest advancements and future directions in the field. Furthermore, the chapters discuss the immune responses triggered by nanoerythrocytes and their implications for cancer treatment.

Key Features:

  • Explores the theranostic potential of nanoerythrocytes, integrating therapeutic and diagnostic capabilities of nanoerythrocytes for personalized cancer treatment
  • Provides detailed insights into the design, drug loading, and release mechanisms that optimize nanoerythrocytes for targeted cancer therapies
  • Investigates immune responses to nanoerythrocyte-based treatments, focusing on safety and efficacy in cancer therapy
  • Addresses key development challenges--safety, scalability, and regulatory--of using nanoerythrocytes against cancer
  • Discusses the latest innovations, patents, and trial outcomes of theranostic potential of nanoerythrocytes against cancer
