The second half of the book covers the major applications and performances of nanostructured materials, drawing comparisons with previous technologies for applications, highlighting the efficacy of nanoscale technologies vis-à-vis the conventional ones.

Verma, Gaurav: - Gaurav Verma is currently a Full Professor at the Panjab University, Chandigarh, India (Dr. SS Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology, and Adjunct Faculty at the Department of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology). He is a former CV Raman Post-Doctoral fellow from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. His research focuses on the areas of applied nanoscience and nanostructured materials.
