In dieser Arbeit geht es um die "Bildungsstandards" als eine der Ma nahmen der Qualitätssicherung im Bildungswesen. Ziel ist es zu klären, wie die Bildungsstandards definiert werden und welchem Zweck sie dienen. Es wird au erdem auf den internationalen Kontext eingegangen und der Stand in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland erläutert. Dies wäre nicht möglich, ohne Schulleistungsstudien wie PISA anzusprechen, und damit fängt die Arbeit im nächsten Kapitel an. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, die Standards kennen zu lernen und einen Einblick über sie und deren Ziele zu bekommen.
