The door opened slowly, and leaning against the doorframe stood the man of my dreams.
People say things happen when you least expect them, and it's true. Because I certainly didn't expect to step up in a dream one night and meet Adrian, a hot-as-sin, charming, flirtatious stranger. His beauty is otherworldly, and his seduction flawless... for good reasons since he's an incubus.
Since my dad's death, leaving me alone on this planet, I've felt like I'm barely existing. But what if this sex demon is precisely what I need to mend my heart and get my life back on track? After all, the deal he's offering me is quite simple: he gets my energy, I get mind-shattering orgasms, with no strings attached and just a little smudge on my soul. I accept on two conditions: he'll be my companion-and for one month only.
But as time goes by, what started as a casual fling turns into something so much deeper. Despite my best efforts, I find myself more and more drawn to Adrian every night. The secrets the demon is keeping from me only add to the lure of the deeply wounded being I can sometimes see under his carefully constructed mask of seduction. Now my life is a mess and my heart is in turmoil... It doesn't help when I find out that my handsome colleague at work is crushing hard on me. And I can't say I'm immune to Ethan's charms, either.
As Adrian burrows his way into my life a little deeper each day, I can't help but wonder if falling for a demon is really a good idea. Will I be enough to quench his never-ending hunger, or will we have to find some... unusual solution? One thing is certain, now that I've invited the supernatural into my life, my world will never be the same-for better and for worse.
Never Mate a S*x Demon is the first novel of a series of four books, and is destined for mature readers only, for there are many graphic scenes of intimacy, as well as some disturbing themes. Adrian is hot as hell, you might end up burned if you don't check the triggers before reading. Oh, one last thing: mind the cliff. You've been warned.
Labeau, Chris: - Chris Labeau was born and bred in the south of France (incredible but true) yet she chose to write her first book in English to reach out to paranormal readers-and probably a bit by masochism, too. She's happily married and has two kids that are way too young for the stories she's writing, and a cat that spends so much time sleeping it had been named after an animal hibernating in winter. When she isn't writing, Chris is thinking about writing or daydreaming about something that will happen two books later. Or she's got her nose in a book or her Kindle reading smut.Chris loves nature, so expect stories on social media about roses or irises. But it could also be a home-baked cake or a cup of hot cocoa. Music is her love language, hence the playlist of her books. Besides that, life is much more interesting in her mind, while she's crafting her next story-she really had too much imagination, but you won't complain about it, do you?Chris is on many socials, just look for @authorchrislabeau on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.
