Keep it secret.Fantasy author Jewel Winters thought keeping her private life and public persona separate would be a breeze-until she meets charismatic Reed Kristensen, the dashing star of a popular science fiction series, at a convention. No pictures.Jewel was there to promote her new book and engage with fans, not fall in love. Reed only wants to get through the con without drama and fly home to his son. Neither is looking for love between interviews and signing sessions, but the camera doesn't lie-even if they try to deny it.No tears when we leave.Jewel thinks her crush on the famous actor will remain a one-sided day-dream; after all, he can have any woman he wants. But Jewel is nothing like Reed's ex-girlfriends or fans, and just being near her makes his world brighter. No falling in love. One divorce is enough for Jewel without falling for a TV star and his cross-country schedule. But can Reed convince her that a passionate tryst at the convention is exactly what she needs? No Expectations. With five rules to protect their hearts, how many will they break?

The 2010 TWCS Original Fiction Contest winner for best supernatural story, Miya Kressin began her writing career many years ago. Following college, she set her creativity aside to focus on work and then raising her children. Eventually, she returned to sharing her dreams by creating oral stories and fantasy worlds for her young children and then put pen to paper to preserve these stories for them. After discovering an online community of amateur writers and readers, Miya resumed writing the stories she dreamt of for years. Now signed with Exciting Press for multiple books, Miya is enjoying the support of "traditional" publishing with the flavor of the indie author environment. Miya has a degree in theosophical studies and psychology from Carthage College. She is also an avid fiber artist; a hobby she enjoys with her husband. In her limited free time, she can be found spinning, knitting, weaving, crocheting and lace-making. She's currently learning how to make glass beads, although she's finding that it is far harder working with fire and glass than it is wool and a spinning wheel. Her educational background and experiences heavily influence her fictional writing. Miya is a stay at home mother in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where she lives with her husband and three daughters.
