This book introduces a clear, child-friendly 'traffic light' visual system to help children communicate how they feel:

Amber: "I'm not sure"
Red: "No, I don't like it"

Designed with early years, intervention, Occupational Therapy and SEND needs in mind, the story supports children who may struggle to express themselves verbally, offering consistent, repeatable phrases and visual cues that can be used at home or in educational settings.

The book includes a cut out page that can be laminated to create a handheld traffic light system so that care providers can check in with children, emphasise boundaries and provide a means of communicating boundaries; considerably if verbalising is inconsistent in any way.
