Was it nothing but a dream?
I am a proud Mother of four beautiful children. I was lucky enough to get two boys and two girls. I also own a cat. He's pretty cool - We all love him and treat him as family. I rescued him as a baby, and he has given me unconditional love from then on. I hope that at least one person can get the joy out of a rescue like I have they really appreciate it and show you daily that they do. I am originally from Montana. My dad's side of the family is Blackfoot, and my Mother's side of the family is the Cherokee and Sioux. I am very proud of my heritage a lot of my writing is based around my roots. I dedicate this book to all Native Americans. No matter your tribe - we are all Brothers and Sisters. I grew up in a small town called Barbourville, Kentucky. Most of my family is scattered all over the USA. My mother still resides in the Blue Grass State. I attended Jesse D. Lay Elementary School and Knox Central High School in Barbourville, Ky. I took up writing in Sixth grade. I was never allowed in the Creative Writing Class, but I always enjoyed Seeing the A+ I made on the Creative Writing Test, I use to make a dollar each time I did someone's paper for them. It was a win, win. Nothing like secretly showing the teachers that thought you could not do it that you could and making money too; 6th grade was awesome. 6th grade was a long time ago but without the people that said I could not because I was a savage - I hope you are reading this. Oh, and Thank you. Without you, I would not be where I am today. I currently reside in Missouri, with my Kids and the cat. My favorite place to write is under Sir Oak. Always respect all living things even trees. My Father told a friend of mine one time, you don't have to be native to have a native heart. Live happy, Live Free, and always love unconditionally - Charles Edward Davis. Rest in peace daddy 1941-2008
