About The Book

Jim's father had just disappeared when he was eight years old. He just didn't come home from work one day. Jim's life was turned upside down. he had become very introverted and had even had thoughts of suicide. The police had turned up nothing, and it seemed that they would never hear from Robert Greg again. Then, one day when they had all but given up all hope of ever hearing from him again, the police found new evidence that gave Jim and his mother hope, but it also created several questions. Jim could imagine his father being involved in espionage, witness protection, or something that was top secret, but he didn't really know any more than he did before. Everything was about to change in their lives.

About The Author

Buddy Helms writes both fiction and non-fiction books about Christianity, faith, love, and relationships. He lives on a small ranch just outside of Big Lake, Texas. He likes horses, motorcycles, fishing, golf, reading, writing, and spending time with his family and friends. He has served as the Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church for twelve years, and he is also available to travel to other churches for evangelistic outreach or seminars. His first novel was entitled "Mike's New Reality," and he is also the author of "Jeremiah: The Last Days," a novel, and "Marriage: What's the Big Deal?," a non-fiction study of what God is trying to reveal to the world through marriage. Buddy also writes books for small group Bible study. He's a graduate of Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, and has graduate degrees from Andersonville Theological Seminary and Newburgh Theological Seminary.
