1. Nuclear Fission

2. Heat Generation

3. Steam Production
In most reactors, the heated coolant is used to boil water, turning it into high-pressure steam.
4. Turbine Rotation
The steam is directed onto turbine blades, making them spin. This converts the heat energy into mechanical energy.
5. Electricity Generation
The spinning turbine is connected to a generator, which produces electricity by converting mechanical energy into electrical energy through electromagnetic induction.
6. Cooling & Recycling
After passing through the turbine, the steam is cooled down in a condenser, often using water from a nearby lake, river, or cooling tower. The cooled water is then recycled back into the system to be heated again.
