Pero sí los intuimos de alguna forma o diría yo que hasta los podemos apreciar por los sentidos. No se os han perdido alguna vez las llaves? Las buscáis por todas partes y al fin resulta que las teníais delante de vosotros. Y ese botón que se cae al suelo e intentáis encontrarlo guiándoos por el sonido? Creéis que está muy cerca, pero el botón desaparece para toda la vida. Son unos pequeños duendes que se divierten escondiendo las cosas y algunas veces las vuelven a perder ellos. También hay duendes serios pero a éstos se les llama gnomos y ya veréis por la novela lo listos que son. Por qué se mueven las aguas de los ríos? Quién hace posibles el deshielo y los fenómenos atmosféricos? Nuestras amigas, las ninfas de las ondas y las sílfides del viento ... Bueno, esas, ya sabeis. La Odisea Fantástica habla del mundo real: del que vemos y del que no vemos. Lo llamamos imaginación o fantasía, pero existe como existen muchas cosas que quizá, andando el tiempo se mostrarán a nuestro ojos. Este otro mundo que presentimos, sí vive en cada persona, más o menos reconocido. El que mejor lo dijo fue Bécquer: "Yo no sé si ese mundo de visiones vive fuera o está dentro de nosotros, pero sé que conozco a muchas gentes a las que no conozco."

About The Author

Nací en Madrid, en los años cuarenta, con todas las consecuencias. En nuestra familia se había tenido siempre mucha afición por la lectura. Esto hacía que de pequeños no sólo leyéramos sino que nos gustara escribir. Ya fueran versos, serios o cómicos, cuentos y alguna función de teatro para representarla nosotros mismos con la colaboración de primos y amigos. Yo escribía en cualquier momento y en cualquier sitio, de una manera irreprimible y compulsiva. Cuando íbamos al campo, sentada en una piedra y con un lápiz -todavía no existían los bolígrafos-, lo que hacía a mi padre decir que lo que le admiraba de mí era que escribía sin levantar la cabeza, sin pararme a pensar y sin quedarme chupando el lápiz. De mayores hemos seguido y seguimos con esta manía, al parecer incurable y los resultados llenan los cajones y estanterías de la casa. Un verdadero agobio. A ver si algo de este desmadre sirve para entreteneros un rato y si es así, dar muchas gracias al valor de éstos héroes de Ediciones EK, que se han atrevido a rescatar algo. Maribel
