"Fix a glass of sweet tea, sit back and savor this tale - An exciting mixture of Sweet Home Alabama and C.S.I." Author- Michael Morris. "Graybar has a definite flare for dialogue."-- Foreword Review "Off the Dock is a respectable debut, and Graybar appeals as a writer with a promising future" - - Foreword Review Visit the charming beach town of Culley Cove, where the Churchill family is forced to explore their family secrets. Caroline Churchill and her grandmother begin to discover what her brain has locked away for so many years about her brother's death, and unwittingly stir up more than expected. Caroline awakens the same evil that took her brother years before. Now, it wants her...

Laurie Hendry Graybar eloquently uses her own southern upbringing to give her novel OFF THE DOCK life. She is a fifth generation native of Taylor County, a small rural community outside of Tallahassee, Florida. Laurie graduated from Florida State University, and became a teacher. She was elected "Teacher of the Year" in Clay County in her third year as a teacher. After receiving an adult diagnosis of ADHD (attention deficit hyperactive disorder), she learned first hand about the importance of creative people allowing their curiosity to take on a life of its own. She lives in Tallahassee, Florida with her husband Ben and their two sons. It's her hope that her writing will encourage people to jump from their docks, figuratively and literally.
