So weit, dass ich plötzlich um mich blicke und mich frage: Wo bin ich? Ich bin im Haus meiner Oma. Ich bin im kleinen Holzhaus, das ich geerbt habe und wo meine Erinnerungen wach werden, die ich in besonderen Erzählsträngen niederschreiben will. Diese Dokumentarliteratur wie Autobiographie und Familienchronik findet sich im postfaktischen Zeitalter der Erinnerungen mit Tatsachen, mit Gefühlen und mit Spekulationen und mit dem, was davon erhalten ist und was davon bleibt vermittels besonderer Erinnerungsorte. Der Begriff Erinnerungsort ist eine Wortschöpfung, die ursprünglich auf das von dem französischen Historiker Pierre Nora für die französische Nationalgeschichte konzipierte siebenbändige Werk 'Les lieux de mémoire' (1984-1992) zurückgeht, das wiederum von den Arbeiten zum kollektiven Gedächtnis des französischen Soziologen und Philosophen Maurice Halbwachs beeinflusst worden war. Seitdem wurde Noras Konzept mehrfach übertragen und weiterentwickelt und knüpft inhaltlich hier in diesem Buch an. Der Buchinhalt beinhaltet vier Lebensabschnitte mit ihren besonderen Themenbereichen in Form von memorierten Niederschriften in freier nicht chronologischer Abfolge: 1 Die frühe Kindheit bis zum 7. Lebensjahr im zerbombten Nachkriegs-Dortmund mit dem gleichzeitigen Kontrast einer anderen Welt in Bayern, wo die Gro eltern als Heimat-Vertriebene aus dem Sudetenland ankamen, sowie die weitere Kindheit und Jugendzeit als ein weiterer Kontrast im grünen ausfransenden südlichen Vorort von Dortmund. 2 Die alt68er Studienzeit in Bochum und die folgende Diaspora-Studienzeit in Münster mit Erkenntnis und Definition der Ruhrgebiets-Heimat als in der Mitte von WIR, niedergeschrieben als Retro-Ruhrgebiets-Hommage eines avantgardistischen Tagebuches.
