Doch im Online-Bereich scheint das Gegenteil der Fall zu sein. Da stellt sich die Frage, ob diese Online-Quasi-Monopole eine vorübergehende Erscheinung oder ein fester Bestandteil einer globalisierten, IT-geprägten Welt sind. Auch ist fraglich, ob es Unterschiede zwischen der klassischen und der Internet-Wirtschaft gibt. Dazu sollen einige Unternehmen mit einem besonders gro en Marktanteil betrachtet werden und auf eine Quasi-Monopolstellung überprüft werden. Zu guter Letzt, soll dann ein Ausblick erfolgen, wie es in dieser Thematik weitergehen könnte, bzw. was uns erwartet. Aufbau der Arbeit Diese Bachelor-Thesis gliedert sich in insgesamt sieben Kapitel: Im ersten Teil wird die Ausgangssituation und der Aufbau der Arbeit beschrieben. Hier wird eine kurze Einführung in die Thematik gewährt. Der zweite Abschnitt befasst sich mit den theoretischen Grundlagen der Globalisierung und des Wettbewerbs. Im dritten Teil werden die Entwicklungen des Informationszeitalter und die Besonderheiten digitaler Güter näher betrachtet. Das vierte Kapitel dient dazu, die Effekte und Wirkungszusammenhänge der Internet-Ökonomie und deren Einfluss auf den Wettbewerb ausführlich zu erläutern. Dieser Teil bildet auch den Kern der theoretischen Ausarbeitung. Im fünften Kapitel soll das in den vorhergehenden Kapiteln erläuterte anhand verschiedener Beispiele nochmals verdeutlicht werden. Wobei das Beispiel Google besonders genau analysiert wird. Im sechsten Abschnitt werden die Gefahren die ein Quasi-Monopol mit sich bringt kompakt beschrieben.
