In 1992 he left IRI and moved to the Kansas City area where he founded Vlamis Software Solutions Inc. which has led more than 200 OLAP implementations. Dan has been a frequent speaker at major Oracle conferences such as Oracle OpenWorld IOUG, Collaborate, and ODTUG for over a decade. As an Oracle Business Intelligence Warehousing and Analytics (BIWA) board member he chaired BIWA Summit 2008 and was the BI/EPM/DW Track Chair for Collaborate 10 and Collaborate 11.
