Di conseguenza, l'obiettivo fondamentale della ricerca sul riconoscimento dei gesti � quello di costruire un sistema in grado di identificare/interpretare automaticamente specifici gesti umani e di utilizzarli per trasmettere informazioni.L'obiettivo principale di questo libro � studiare metodi basati su tecniche all'avanguardia. La tesi affronta lo sviluppo del riconoscimento dei gesti della mano utilizzando Video Object Plane Generation Hand Segmentation, Modified Finite State Machine (MFSM), Modified Hidden Markov Model (MHMM) e Dynamic Time Warping (DTW).
