About The Author

Bhai Parmanand (1876–1947) was a prominent Indian nationalist and leader of the Hindu Mahasabha. Born into a respected Punjab-based Mohyal Brahmin family, he was influenced by the Arya Samaj movement due to his father's active involvement in it. He had visionary ideas about the partition and suggested the creation of a Muslim kingdom beyond Sindh, while Hindus would migrate elsewhere. Parmanand embarked on overseas missions, including visits to South Africa, Guyana, and the United States, promoting Vedic culture. He played a pivotal role in the Ghadar Party, enduring imprisonment in the Andaman Islands for his involvement. He later passed away in 1947, leaving a lasting legacy.
