He has written a fictional novel, The Violin's Secret, which chronicles the survival of one young teenager through the Holocaust. Singing in the Mind: A Study of the Voice and Song was his first non-fictional writing about the passion of singing and a different view of how singing occurs in the mind and its role in cultures.
