Né en 1953 dans la Meuse, Patrick LAGNEAU est retraité de l'enseignement agricole où il a été professeur d'éducation socioculturelle pendant trente-trois ans. Il a placé, tout au long de sa carrière, son énergie créatrice dans le théâtre, la comédie musicale, l'écriture de scénarios et la réalisation de films vidéo avec lesquels il a conduit ses élèves et étudiants à de nombreux prix nationaux. Aujourd'hui vice-président et webmaster d'une association d'auteurs meusiens (PLUME, acronyme de Passion Littéraire de l'Union Meusienne des Ecrivains et illustrateurs), il se consacre à l'écriture de romans dans des genres éclectiques, pour le plaisir de raconter des histoires au gré de son imagination.
