About The Author

L R Easterling grew up in a small town in Mississippi and was raised by her grandparents. L R Easterling is a single mother from the age of 20; which made life difficult for her but she persevered through her circumstances. Today, L R Easterling has a doctoral degree in Healthcare Administration, and she continues to press forward in trying to make a life for her and her daughter. L R Easterling was inspired to write this book to help others who may find themselves in her predicament and believes there is no way for them to make it to the place they want in life. L R Easterling hopes this book would empower others to push forward and to understand that their past does not define their future. Through faith and hope, all will prevail.
