Alaloul, Nadine: - Nadine Alaloul is a Palestinian-Canadian poet and spoken word artist whose powerful blend of poetry and storytelling captivates audiences. Known for her thought-provoking performances, Nadine uses her art to spread awareness on mental health and social justice issues, as well as to navigate her own healing journey. Her poetry has been published in various online magazines, journals, and zines worldwide.With a BA honors specialization in criminology, Nadine has a deep understanding of societal dynamics, human behavior, and their connection to mental health. Her passion for writing began in the sixth grade while living in Palestine under occupation, where poetry became her outlet for self-expression and advocacy. Nadine is an active participant in her community, organizing spoken word nights, writing workshops, and healing ceremonies. Alejandrina, Dhayana: - Editor Biography: Dhayana Alejandrina is a poet, community facilitator, writing mentor, and author of Agridulce: Poetry and Prose. She began her literary journey at age nine in Santo Domingo, continuing it after immigrating to the United States in 2009. Her work explores the transformative power of words, delving into inner growth, culture, identity, and healing. Through her essays, poems, and prose, she strives to contribute to the literary world and celebrate the diverse voices of her community. Alejandrina recently assumed the role of Lead Poetry and Cultural Collaborator for Afriqué Noire Magazine and is working on her second poetry collection.

Aloul, Lama: - Illustrator Biography: Lama Aloul is a Palestinian multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Amsterdam. Aloul holds a bachelor's degree in graphic design from the American University in Cairo, and a master's degree in fines arts and design from Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam. In her artistic practice, she focuses on indigenous teachings of the body in connection with the surrounding ecology. She is working across the disciplines of participatory performances, interactive video installations, archives, illustration, and storytelling. In the Netherlands, she exhibited works at the kunsthal kade, Mediamatics, When site lost the plot, W139, the Opera Forward Festival, Hotel Mokum, and the Sandberg graduation show of 2022.
