Dans le traitement des images couleur, chaque canal (R, V, B), chaque pixel ou bloc d'image peut �tre trait� par des processeurs ou des threads distincts. Les techniques de traitement parall�le sont utilis�es efficacement dans divers domaines tels que l'intelligence artificielle, l'imagerie m�dicale, la vid�osurveillance et les applications d'�dition graphique. Avec l'aide des GPU (processeurs graphiques) et des CPU multicoeurs, le traitement parall�le est r�alis� � l'aide de technologies telles que OpenMP, CUDA, OpenCL et MPI.
