Une �tude psychologique a �t� men�e sur les sentiments des m�res d'enfants atteints de paralysie c�r�brale (PC), dans le but de conna�tre, d'identifier et d'analyser ces sentiments, afin de contribuer � l'am�lioration des pratiques psychologiques interventionnelles dans l'aide directe aux m�res concern�es dans leur int�gralit�. Il s'agit d'une recherche qualitative de nature descriptive. La collecte des donn�es a �t� r�alis�e au sein de l'institution. Les r�sultats obtenus ont �t� divis�s en deux cat�gories qui ont r�v�l� les sentiments de la m�re face au diagnostic et ses sentiments actuels concernant le handicap de son enfant, ainsi que vingt-sept sous-cat�gories de sentiments. Cependant, apr�s avoir surmont� le choc initial, les m�res sont encore en train de s'adapter � leur nouvelle r�alit�. Les m�res ont renonc� � leur vie professionnelle et personnelle pour s'occuper de leurs enfants. Elles ont montr� qu'elles avaient besoin du soutien de leur famille, d'un soutien psychologique et des institutions qui traitent leurs enfants. Il est apparu clairement que chaque m�re a une fa�on unique et singuli�re de vivre son quotidien avec son enfant atteint de paralysie c�r�brale. Cependant, toutes partagent les m�mes besoins, les m�mes pr�occupations et m�me les m�mes difficult�s.
