Giuliano, James: - "Focus, determination and persistence provide the foundation of the ethos of James Giuliano's life. An early introduction to these attributes is key to seeing the skills learnt through his Karate career influence his achievements and everyday life. Starting at age 6, in a local Karate dojo with his brothers, 'just for fun', little did James know the shape his life would take through and from the sport of Karate. His decision to pursue Karate led James to a 28-year career that has seen him become a world-class athlete, train and compete internationally with many revered trainers and medal in countless tournaments and championships. James featured on the competitive circuits, winning the Italian and U.S Open Championships in 2014 and claiming his 10th Australian Championship title in 2016. As life progressed and his passion for Karate continued to flourish into a serious career path, James applied the skills learnt through his sport into real life. From his determination at the age of 15 to have an impact on the Karate competition scene, to his passion to make a difference and inspire others: James is now the proud founder of a Melbourne based Karate school, this passion-turned-career now sees him imparting his knowledge and skills gained throughout his life with more than 300 students. Through this journey of establishing his Karate school and developing age-appropriate programs, James' teaching philosophy and beliefs have evolved into one that centres on connection and meaningful interaction with his students. James focuses on developing confidence, self-belief and resilience through Karate and he has combined this with a systematic business approach to his teachings - the key to success, always being prepared for what lies ahead.
