Bei der fachlichen Auseinandersetzung mit diesem Thema leiten vor allem die Fragen nach den Auswirkungen von Peer-Tutoring auf das Lernen von Tutor*innen und Tutand*innen sowie die Verbindungen von Peer-Tutoring zu einzelnen Lerntheorien die Arbeit. Um die zentralen Fragen dieses Berichtes beantworten zu können, setzt sich der erste Teil mit Peer-Learning auseinander. Hierfür wird zunächst eine grundlegende Begriffsbestimmung formuliert, um im Anschluss auf drei bekannte Lerntheorien genauer eingehen zu können. Es handelt sich dabei um die Theorie des Modelllernens, die Diffusionstheorie und den Partizipationsansatz. Im zweiten Teil der Arbeit wird der Blick genauer auf die Form des Peer-Tutoring gelenkt. Auch an dieser Stelle wird zunächst eine Begriffsbestimmung als Grundlage formuliert, um daran anschlie end auf Auswirkungen und Lerneffekte von Peer-Tutoring auf Tutor*innen und Tutand*innen eingehen zu können. Hierbei wird, neben möglichen Vorteilen und Rollenkonflikten, auch auf die zwei hochschuldidaktischen Formen von Tutorien, Erstsemestertutorium und Fachtutorium, eingegangen. Der dritte Teil beschäftigt sich mit einigen empirischen Forschungsarbeiten zum Thema Peer-Tutoring und fasst ihre zentralen Ergebnisse zusammen. Auch an dieser Stelle liegt der Fokus der Studienbetrachtung auf der Beantwortung der Fragestellung für diese schriftliche Arbeit. Zum Abschluss dieses Berichtes wird in einem kurzen Fazit kritisch Stellung zur Beantwortung der leitenden Fragestellung genommen. Peer-Tutoring ist die wohl am häufigsten verbreitete Form von Peer-Learning und besonders im Kontext von hochschulischer Bildung bekannt.
