Wir sagen, daB Schmerzen "scharf', "dumpf' oder "reiBend" sind, daB sie "an-oder abschwellen," daB ihre Intensitat ertraglich oder unertraglich ist, und versuchen damit Hinweise zu geben, die einem anderen ermoglichen soIlen, sich ein Bild zu machen was wir von oder in unserem Korper erleben. - Unser Korper sind wir selbst, und die Beziehung, die wir zu unserem Korper haben, ist von der Beziehung zu uns selbst nicht zu trennen. Es ist ein anthropologisch bedeutsames Faktum, daB unsere Sprache uns so wenig entge genkommt, wenn wir versuchen, uns iiber diese Beziehung Rechenschaft zu geben."
