Das Buch soll und kann natürlich nicht DIE Antwort auf die Quo-vadis-Frage geben, wohl aber eine Orientierung. Und das jeweils mit der in einem Editorial gebotenen (relativen) Kürze, frei nach dem Motto "Quidquid praecipies, esto brevis" - Was auch immer du lehren wirst, fasse dich kurz! About The Author

Dipl.-Ing. Wilfried Grunau ist Geodät und seit 1993 ehrenamtlicher Präsident des Verbandes Deutscher Vermessungsingenieure (VDV), dem Berufsverband für Vermessung und Geoinformation. Seit 2014 ist er zusätzlich ehrenamtlicher Präsident des Zentralverbandes der Ingenieurvereine (ZBI), einem Spitzenverband für Ingenieurverbände mit über 50.000 Mitgliedern. Von 1994 bis 1998 war Grunau Präsident der unter seiner Mitwirkung 1992 gegründeten European Group of Surveyors (EGoS), dem europäischen Dachverband für Vermessungsingenieure. Im Jahr 2011 wurde Wilfried Grunau für sein ehrenamtliches Engagement mit dem Bundesverdienstkreuz ausgezeichnet.
