Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2017 im Fachbereich Pflegewissenschaft - Demenz, FH Kärnten, Standort Feldkirchen (Gesundheit und Soziales), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Pflegetheorien werden erst seit etwa 15 Jahren im deutschsprachigen Raum in den Praxisalltag integriert. Mittlerweile gilt, dass der Pflegeberuf einen wissenschaftlich klar definierten Rahmen aufweisen soll. Zwei Expertinnen, die für eine evidenzbasierte Pflege stehen und Pflegetheorien und -modelle für die Pflegepraxis entwickelten, werden in der folgenden Arbeit vorgestellt. Das Pflegemodell der Pflegepädagogin Marit Kirkevold (1997) und jenes der Medizinsoziologin und Pflegewissenschaftlerin Alaf Ibrahim Meleis (1999) werden verglichen und die Gemeinsamkeiten sowie die Gegensätze aufgezeigt. Es erfolgt die Auswahl eines geeigneten Pflegemodells bei Menschen mit Demenz und eine kritische Betrachtung des Analyse-Modells. Darauf folgend wird die Umsetzung des gewählten Modells im Pflegealltag beschrieben und begründet.
