Puttagunta, Srinivasa Babu: - Srinivasa Babu Puttagunta, Professor and Principal of Vignan Pharmacy College, Guntur, is a distinguished figure in Pharmaceutical Sciences with over 26 years of impactful work. Under his leadership, Vignan Pharmacy College achieved an A++ NAAC grade, and NBA accreditation, and holds 2(f) and 12(B) UGC status. He's extensive research includes more than 200 publications in high-impact journals, with research grants exceeding 51 lakhs from AICTE, DST, and UBA, along with over 5 lakhs from non-government sources. His contributions include five patents, two authored books, and mentorship to nine Ph.D. scholars. He serves as Vice President of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) Andhra Pradesh and General Secretary of the IPGA-AP, and he is a life member of key professional bodies such as IPA, IPGA, ISTE, APTI, and IACP.
