L'Euphorbia résinifera Berg., est utilisé comme source pour l'extraction des substances utilisées pour les voies de recherche poursuivies dans le présent travail. Il s'agit, d'une part, d'améliorer les rendements de production de certaines molécules intéressantes dans le domaine de recherche bio médical et, d'autre part, la préparation de nouvelles molécules permettant de contribuer à l'étude de mécanisme d'action vis-à-vis du récepteur de vanilloïde TRPV-1. Des choix des voies des réactions d'hémi-synthèse de plusieurs analogues de la résiniferatoxine ont été mis aux points: le 5'- iodorésiniferatoxine ainsi que huit autres nouveaux analogues du mème substrat. La prostratine a également été préparée, à partir du 12-deoxyphorbol, avec un rendement 20 fois plus élevé que celui déjà connu dans la littérature. Les résultats pharmacologiques effectués sur ces dérivés montrent que les substituants du phényle (méthoxyle et hydroxyle) homovanilliques ne sont pas essentiels pour l'activité de ces produits. On dirait la mème chose du nombre de carbone de la chaîne aliphatique entre le ROPA et le substituant homovanillique.
