The remaining ten chapters address specific categories of natural products, classified according to their structure and source, including: Phenylpropanoids; Carbohydrates; Quinones; Flavonoids; Terpenoids and Volatile Oils; Steroids and Their Glycosides; Alkaloids; Marine Natural Products; Microbial Natural Products; and Vitamins and Other Types.
