A string of brutal murders rages the City, and at the same time there's an unexplainable increase of suicides.
It means a lot of extra work for DC Dwayne Miller and his friend and colleague, Hank Morrison.

When the police arrest a young man in suspect of the killings, Dwayne's girlfriend Emma Johnson, however, detects other leads: In the suspect's horoscope there're clues that point to poisoning. This offers a completely different approach to the case.
As a policeman, however, Dwayne cannot make use of Emma's alternative theory.

Together with her friend Abigail Williams she then secretly starts working towards finding an answer - even though intuition warns her that a disaster is nearing.
