This book was written with a wide range of skills and ability levels of early learners in mind. Learning becomes much more meaningful when hands-on activities takes place. Both parents and teachers can benefit from the variety of pages provided in this book. A parent can use this book to work with his or her child to introduce new material or to reinforce material already familiar to the child. Teachers can select pages that provide additional practice for concepts taught in the classroom. Pages in this book also make great homework assignments when tied to skills being covered in the classroom.

Cathy Scott earned a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida International University. She also earned a Master's degree in teaching learning disabled students from Nova Southeastern University. She has taught in the public school system for 25 years, teaching grades K-6 and exceptional education students in grades K-8. Angela Brandon is a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant that works in the public school system, providing skilled occupational therapy intervention strategies to children of all ages with various disabilities.
