MASTODON, A PLANET FILLED WITH AN ABUNDANCE OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND SPECIAL UNIQUE MINERALS WAS DISCOVERED BY FOUR SUPER INTELLIGENT DRAGONS. THESE SAME DRAGONS LEFT THEIR DYING PLANET TO FIND A NEW PLANET TO INHABIT. THESE CAME FROM THE SAME PLANET, BUT WERE NOT ALLIES: THEY ONLY WORKED TOGETHER OUT OF NECESSITY. ONCE ARRIVED, THEY REALIZED THAT THERE WERE MANY OTHER INTELLIGENT CREATURES AND/OR ENTITIES THAT INHABITED THE PLANET. THE DRAGONS REALIZED THAT THEY HAD TO BATTLE SUCCESSFULLY IN ORDER TO INHABIT THE PLACE.
THESE DRAGONS BATTLED FOR YEARS AND YEARS TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE PLANET. IN TIME, THEY WERE ABLE TO CAPTURE A CONTINENT. ONCE THEY OWNED THIS CONTINENT, THEY DIVIDED IT INTO FOUR REGIONS: NORTHERN, EASTERN, SOUTHERN, AND WESTERN. EACH REGION WAS RULED BY ONE DRAGON. ALL FOUR DRAGONS DECIDED TOGETHER TO FIND SUBJECTS FROM THE SAME GALAXY THAT WOULD BE THE MOST EFFICIENT FOR THE CONTINENT, AND FOR THE PLANET. THEY WANTED SUBJECTS THAT WERE INTELLIGENT ENOUGH TO BUILD UP THE CONTINENT, AND DEFEND IT. THEY ALSO WANTED THE SUBJECTS TO PROTECT THE PLANET, AND ITS MOONS (WHICH WERE MORE THAN 80). THE DRAGONS CONCLUDED THAT SINCE HUMANOIDS WERE VERY SIMILAR TO EACH OTHER, THEY WOULD BE THE RIGHT CREATURES MOST SUITED FOR THE JOB. WITH THIS AGREEMENT, THE DRAGONS WERE ABLE TO INSTALL PORTALS ON SEVERAL PLANETS THAT WOULD WORK AT BRIEF PERIODS OF TIME. THESE PORTALS WOULD BRING IN UNSUSPECTING HUMANOIDS THAT WOULD NOW BECOME INHABITANTS OF THE DRAGONFLY CONTINENT ON PLANET MASTODON. THE HUMANOIDS WERE SIMILAR TO MAN ON EARTH, BUT WOULD BECOME SOMEWHAT DIFFERENT ONCE THEY ARRIVED AT THEIR NEW HOME. DURING THE PORTAL JOURNEY, THE HUMANOIDS WOULD BE GIVEN THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND, SPEAK, AND WRITE IN THEIR NEW LANGUAGE IMMEDIATELY UPON ARRIVAL. MANY OTHER BENEFITS WOULD COME WITH THEIR ARRIVAL. THE PLANET WAS FILLED WITH ALL KINDS OF WILDLIFE ON LAND AND IN THE SEA. THE CONTINENT OF DRAGONFLY ALSO WAS A PLACE OF STRANGE INHABITANTS. THESE INHABITANTS INCLUDED GIANT LIZARDS AND SNAKES, GIANT BIRDS, FLYING REDMEN, AND FLYING TIGERS...TO NAME A FEW! SINCE THIS PLANET HAS AN ABUNDANCE OF THINGS TO BE REVEALED, NOT EVERYTHING COULD BE PUT IN JUST ONE BOOK. MANY THINGS AND MANY STORIES COULD BE TOLD; THEREFORE, THIS HAS BECOME 'BOOK 01' OF A SERIES. THIS FIRST BOOK MAINLY DEALS WITH A BRIEF INTRODUCTION; AND THEN IT HAS A FEW DIFFERENT STORIES TO START OFF THE SERIES. THE AUTHOR HOPES YOU WILL READ THE STORIES AND ENJOY.• Author(s): Clear | James • Publisher: Penguin • Publisher Imprint: Penguin Random House • Subject: General Books
