In der Baupraxis und in der Literatur der Baubetriebswirtschaftslehre wurde in den letzten Jahren eine Anzahl von Methoden fUr das Projektmanagement entwickelt. Hierbei stehen die Planung und Kontrolle der Termine, der Kosten und der fUr die Durchfiihrung von Bauprojekten einzusetzenden Kapazitiiten im Mittelpunkt der Betrachtungen. Umfassende Methoden zur Planung und Kontrolle der zur Erstellung der Bauleistung angewandten Produktionsprozesse hingegen stehen bisher nicht zur VerfUgung. Das in diesem Buch beschriebene CYCLONE-Modell stellt eine Methode zur Planung und Kontrolle von Bauproduktionsprozessen dar. Die Beschreibung von Bauproduktionsprozessen durch CYCLONE-Modelle wird mittels der in Kapitel 2 definierten Elemente vorgenommen. Die einzelnen Schritte der Modellformulierung werden zuerst im Kapitel 3 erlautert und anschlieBend im Kapitel4 an den Beispielen der Bauproduktionsprozesse "Maurerarbeiten", "Stollenvortrieb", "Betonfertigteil- erzeugung" und "Erdtransport" aufgezeigt. Urn die Dynamik eines Bauproduktionsprozesses simulieren zu konnen (KapiteI6), sind entweder deterministische oder stochastische Dauern der einzelnen Arbeitsvor- gange zu schatzen (Kapitel 5). Die Simulation von Bauproduktionsprozessen am CYCLONE-Modell kann zwar per Hand vorgenommen werden, bei komplexen Bauproduktionsprozessen ist jedoch die Verwendung des CYCLONE-Computer- programmes notwendig. Die Verwendung des Computerprogrammes ermoglicht den Einsatz diverser lnstrumente zur Kontrolle von Bauproduktionsprozessen, insbeson- ders den Einsatz von Wartezeitenstatistiken, von "sonstigen" Statistiken und von Sensitivitlitsanalysen (Kapitel 7). Das CYCLONE-Computerprogramm wird nicht im Detail beschrieben. Die Aus- fUhrungen in Kapitel 8 beschrlinken sich auf die fUr den Beniitzer interessanten Er- lauterungen der Eingabe und Ausgabe der Computersimulation. 1m Kapitel 9 wird das empirische Beispiel der Planung und Kontrolle des Bau- produktionsprozesses "Betonierung der Stockwerke des Peachtree Plaza Hotels" beschrieben.
